When Giro Pizzeria first opened its doors in April 2015, the restaurant was the result of a genuine collaboration based on shared values between Nobis Hospitality Group and one of the world's oldest pizzerias, Da Michele. Michele Condurro opened his first pizzeria in 1906. In 1930, the restaurant moved to the location that still houses Da Michele today. For five generations, the Condurro family has been making pizza the way Michele advocated: only two types of pizza – Marinara and Margherita.
At Giro Pizzeria, we developed a concept that blended Da Michele's essence with Nobis', creating pizzas that follow the tradition of a special fermentation technique, oven construction, and handling, all learned from Da Michele bakers. Today, we have our own bakers, but we still make pizzas the traditional Neapolitan way, just as we learned from Da Michele. The classic pizzas are still here, alongside our own creations, striking a nice balance between tradition and innovation.
Giro has a clear vision: to create authentic Neapolitan pizza of the highest quality. We want to highlight the cultural heritage that pizza is founded upon. Blending traditions, we've developed our own concept that incorporates modernity and fresh inspirations. We achieve this with a team of Neapolitan Pizzaiolos, carefully selected ingredients imported from Italy, and a tailored beverage selection.
